When we first encountered the work of Atelier Nomade, we recognized something ancient in it. The kind of beauty that doesn’t beg for attention—but commands it quietly. To us, these pieces are not simply garments. They are textile shrines. They are portals.
We’re honored to carry a small collection of these one-of-a-kind pieces here at Kinship Station, each one imbued with the intuitive, ceremonial touch of its maker.
What is Atelier Nomade?
Founded by Biba Avayara, Atelier Nomade is a ceremonial couture studio and art gallery based on the island of Ibiza. Each piece is hand-sewn and custom-crafted using antique textiles—from embroidered Rajasthani fragments to vintage Japanese kimonos—gathered over years of Biba’s travel and intuitive collection.
The result is clothing that holds the imprint of many lives: textiles once worn and loved, now reimagined into new forms. This is not fast fashion. It’s fashion as ritual. As resurrection. As poetry.
Biba calls her creations “Dream Art to Wear.” We agree.
Three Ways to Meet an Atelier Nomade Piece
1. For the Ritualist
Let one of Biba’s pieces become part of your ceremonial life. Layer it for a solstice ritual, a new moon bath, or simply as morning adornment. Each one carries a particular spirit—like wearing an intention.
2. For the Aesthetic Devotee
Atelier Nomade’s silhouettes are fluid and feminine. Their palette is dusty rose, gold thread, faded indigo—tones that feel both ancestral and avant-garde. Wear with nothing but your own certainty.
3. For the Collector
These garments are each one-of-a-kind, never duplicated. Meant for the woman who sees fashion as personal mythology—not a collection of trends. Each piece is a marker of becoming.
Why We Carry Her Work
Because we believe that what you wear can be a form of reverence.
Because we are here for slowness, softness, and stories stitched by hand.
Because we honor the sacredness of craft—and the women who carry it forward.
Atelier Nomade offers an alternative—a return to adornment as ritual, where each garment carries memory, meaning, and the quiet power of things made slowly, by hand, and with soul.
